The Quality Asurance Analyst will work closely with the VP of Product as well as other team members. About The Role //

We are looking for a talented Quality Assurance Analyst who is passionate about building high quality products to delight and empower clients. This is a critical role that interacts with product managers, developers, and multiple stakeholder groups. The position is remote and reports to the VP of Product.

What you can expect to do //
  • Collaborate with Product Managers on user stories for new product features
  • Groom stories to ensure they are well defined and verifiable
  • Design test plans
  • Validate that new features meet requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Reproduce any reported bugs and file actionable tickets for dev team
  • Communicate status of bugs or outages back to stakeholders
  • Collect metrics on defects and present to management
  • Attend daily standup and weekly meetings
  • Contribute to evolving our processes and culture

What you will need to have //
  • 3 years of experience performing QA on client facing web-based applications
  • Attention to detail in validating requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of databases and SQL to investigate data errors
  • Analytical, problem solving mindset
  • Empathy for users and stakeholders
  • Ability to assess the usability of new features
  • Familiarity with agile user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Comfort collaborating with remote developers or product managers

What else will be helpful in this role //
  • Familiarity working with feature flags in a continuous delivery environment
  • Experience with a kanban process
  • Comfort using developer tools in the browser to check for errors
  • Experience with automated testing
  • Knowledge of audio encoding
  • Love for music
